I had more than enough receiving blankets so I decided to cut a few of them into wipes and zig zag stitched the edges.
Along with my cloth wipes I made wipe solution. I followed the Lavender and Tea Tree recipe and it smells wonderful! I folded the wipes so they pop up just like disposables wipes from the wipe warmer.
Fold the first wipe in half
Lay a second wipe inside and lay the first one closed. Now put another wipe inside and repeat with each subsequent wipe so that the wipes will pull out one after the other. Sorry for the terrible directions hope this makes sense!
Lavender 'n' Tea TreeLavender and Tea Tree are popular EO choices for wipe solutions.
1/8 cup olive oil (sometimes I use baby oil)
1 tablespoon baby shampoo
4 drops tea tree oil
8 drops lavender oil
3 cups water
Oh gosh! Quite the sophisticated method. I just use plain water at room temp. I'm too lazy to do anything else :) You are a good mama.
ReplyDeleteHaha I just love the warm, yummy smelling wipes! It only take me about 10 minutes and they last all week.
